Originally from Granada, Spain, Luis Zarzo is a skilled cinematographer who relocated to the UK in 2014 to advance his career. He holds a Master’s degree in Filmmaking with a specialization in Cinematography from the Northern Film School.

Luis worked his way up through the ranks as a camera assistant, honing his craft and gaining invaluable experience along the way. He has shot for notable clients such as Amazon and LEGO, among others, and has worked as a camera operator on documentaries, including Welcome to Wrexham. His work has been nominated at numerous prestigious international film festivals, including BAFTA and Oscar qualifying festivals, such as Camerimage, the Royal Television Awards, Aesthetica Film Festival, El Gouna Film Festival, and Kolkata Film Festival.

A keen collaborator, Luis has experience working in both analogue film and digital formats, and is a fully certified A2 CofC drone pilot with EC 785/2004 compliant commercial insurance. He is adept at leveraging visual elements to enhance storytelling and narrative flow. With versatility and adaptability, he collaborates on projects spanning diverse genres and budgets, crafting compelling visuals that connect with audiences.
